From 1969, when recording the Moody Blues in Studio 1, Me (Hugh Falconer) seated with Derek Varnals. Fantastic memories, and a big thanks to John Burns CMS user 04/03/19

My dad, Ron Mason, worked for Decca from April 1948 until his retirement in September 1991. In the early days he was involved in disc cutting and I have uploaded some photos of the rooms. He Sadly passed away on the 29/6/16. CMS user 04/03/19

It's the 90th birthday of Decca Records, and I am a record collector from way back. I remember going to yard sales and through thrift stores for years trying to find a playable copy of Tommy the 3 record set rock opera by The Who, till I accomplished this. I was always looking for The Who and the Rolling Stones and other rock and blues music on Decca. A while back, I bought a Seeburg trash can jukebox which only plays 78's, and the 20 it held were in very rough condition. I found some locally that were new old stock and these 6 actually had the original sleeves with jukebox labels still paper clipped to the sleeves. I know these are from the 1950's, but I don't have any records that date from 1929. Notice the different sleeve designs, label logos and my favorite the blue art decca label with the song Deacon Jones. Lets all wish this grand old record company a happy 90th birthday and hopefully they'll still be going strong in another 90 years! Anthony Schanz 01/03/19
